The impact you will create:
Develop and implement optimization and AI algorithms for logistics optimization, focusing on route optimization and scheduling, maximizing recycling quotas, minimizing pallets in circulation, and optimizing resource allocation
Develop and maintain software tools and frameworks to support training, serving and monitoring of AI models
Collaborate with logistics and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems
Design and integrate testing and validation techniques to ensure the high quality and reliability of AI solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and optimization techniques
Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience and skills you will need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Experience in building AI solutions from data sourcing, to model training, to API model serving (MLOps)
Good command of Python and SQL is a must
Willingness to grow your skills in the field of optimization / operations research
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Familiarity with fundamental AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, optimization algorithms, and deep learning
Practical experience with building and maintaining APIs using docker, Kubernetes and Flask or FastAPI is an advantage
Strong background in optimization techniques and operations research, such as linear programming, constraint programming and metaheuristics is an advantage (NumPy, SciPy, PuLP, and OR-Tools)
