The impact You will create:

Collaborate with other teams to build a developer platform that streamlines the process of software development for one of the largest retailers in the world
Facilitate the migration to the cloud and a cloud-native way of development for teams in the whole company
Integrate cloud providers and third-party tools to provide teams with a holistic overview of their cloud costs, code quality and software security
Provide essential services for the platform like billing management or a notification system
Provide an excellent user experience with modern web technologies like Web Components

Experience and skills You will need:

General backend and frontend development experience
At least a year of experience with Go
Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS/Typescript and modern web technologies
Knowledge in designing and implementing REST APIs
Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with modern software development using Git, CI/CD pipelines and Docker
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and its concepts
Fundamental development skills like troubleshooting using a debugger or being able to use the terminal to fulfill tasks more efficiently
A basic understanding of the techniques required to build software that needs to scale or deal with large amounts of data
Familiarity with cloud providers like GCP or Azure
