Your Tasks

Lead the development and evolution of the overall quality strategy for the team and platform, aligning with business objectives and product roadmaps.
Propose and champion improvements to testing processes, tools, and metrics, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
Proactively research, evaluate, and advocate for new testing methodologies and technologies.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams from the initial design phase to ensure quality is built-in from the ground up.
Provide expert guidance on testability, reliability, and maintainability of software architecture and design.
Strategically design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and highly performant automated test frameworks for the team's tools and APIs.
Champion the adoption of best practices in test automation, promoting reusability, maintainability, and developer empowerment in testing.
Act as a primary thought leader and strategic advisor for quality-related topics across domains and the wider organization.
Mentor and empower other QAs and engineers across the company in advanced testing tools, strategies, and quality best practices.

Your Profile

Deep expertise in automated testing strategies (API, E2E, performance, security, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (K6, Pact, Playwright, Cucumber, etc.).
Strong proficiency in Python.
Advanced understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and Docker/containerization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles to influence testability.
Strategic vision.
Exceptional leadership, influence, and consensus-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive and continuous knowledge sharing.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a critical, proactive eye for systemic quality improvements.
Ability to drive change and overcome organizational impediments to quality.
