Software Engineer STACKIT Firewall (m/f/d)
The impact you will create
You develop a firewall management platform for STACKIT cloud
- You develop a firewall management platform for STACKIT cloud
- You extend the system architecture
- You develop REST APIs through which our customers control the service lifecycle
- You develop Kubernetes operators to automate the life cycle of cloud services
- You take responsibility in the agile product team: You Build It - You Run It
- You competently conduct in-depth root cause analyses and identify sustainable solutions that you implement directly

You have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies and can put them into practice

- Your focus is on software development and you already feel at home in cloud environments
- You impress us with your sound knowledge of programming with Golang
- Contribute to all aspects of software development, you will drive your product from idea to successful go-live.
- Manage the solution design and new implementations (configuration and development)
- Together with Product owners, you develop the product strategy and plan its technical implementation
- Drive and solve complex problems with creative solutions
- Responsible for the development stack and set the technical direction
- Moderate architecture reviews and ensure high software quality
- Develop best practices and establish them in the team. Provide input for refactoring and improving quality for existing code.
- Engage and work with all involved stakeholders -internal and external (POs, dev teams, testing teams, operations, infrastructure, business)
- Support testing for existing and new solutions\implementations
- Identify risks and constraints and proactively mitigate them
- Support progress tracking for various stages of projects and adapt to difficult situations
- Communicate and engage vendors for new requirements or issues
- Coordinate development team members, assign tasks, delegate
- Support on monitoring team capacity and priorities
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other team members
