As a result, it is responsible for the selection, provision, operation and continuing development of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications. In order to provide IT solutions that optimally support the departments’ business processes, Schwarz IT addresses the departments’ requirements in consultations and works with them to develop professional and effective IT solutions.
The impact you will create
- The Solution EWM Consultant works in the Forecast-to-Fulfil team focusing on the technical implementation of IT-processes in EWM
- Responsible for the further evolution of the EWM systems by designing the solutions in accordance to the SAP-standard
- Interacts with other members of the team as well as the business to understand the requirements and identifying the needs for Add-on developments.
- Solving incidents and giving support in case of productive failures complete the tasks of development
Experience and skills you will need
- Designing and continuing to develop the SAP EWM system to ensure its functional capability during productive operations.
- This creates the basis for efficient warehouse management processes within the company
- Elaborating on creative and future-oriented solution concepts for technical requirements, as well as implementing them by carrying out Add-on developments in the SAP EWM systems
- Ensure the solution quality by exploiting the SAP Standard to its best, understanding the set-ups in Customizing and deriving the needs for programming only where the SAP Standard fails to meet our business requirements
- Perform additional programming in SAP retail modules that are close to EWM, when it comes to inbound or outbound delivery processing
- Supporting the specialist areas in order to optimize existing business processes, commissioning new warehouses as well as interaction with the Consultant team to deliver high-quality solutions
- Status updates towards project managers or superiors for on-going activities
- Support of operations by giving technical advice for troubleshooting problems
- In accordance to his supervisor the job holder is responsible for the mentioned tasks
- All areas of responsibility are not exhaustive and can be expanded in an entrepreneurial responsibility
- In addition to the tasks mentioned above the job holder is obliged to carry out individual orders on the instructions (which result from the operational necessity) of his supervisor
