Laura Liarte Segura, Enterprise Service Operations & Processes Team leader

Laura started at Lidl Spain in 2015 and founded the first competence center in the country. As head of the department, she was responsible for building the teams and infrastructure that would then provide support in SAP systems to all Lidl countries worldwide. In the beginning, there were only two employees in her department. Today, Laura manages the "Central Business Operations 4 Central Solutions (CBO 4 CS)" department with 60 employees. CBO 4 CS provides operational services for business and IT solutions for the four divisions (Lidl, Kaufland, Prezero, Production) of the Schwarz Group. As head of "Enterprise Service Operations & Processes", she is able to combine her passion for technology with people and strategy development.

What do you like most about your work?

It makes me proud when we work together to ensure that internal customers have a positive experience with our business and IT solutions every day. I appreciate the interaction with people and the dynamics in the technological environment, which constantly brings new and varied topics. Especially the development of the teams and employees on a professional level.

How would you describe your team?

The team of 60 employees is international, diverse and young. With 11 nationalities and 10 different languages, cultural interaction promotes the strength of the team. The team members are adaptable to change and have a strong will to learn. This attitude helps us to improve every day.
