Angello Manrique, Robotic Process Automation Team leader

Angello has previously worked in consulting firms as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) focused on business process management, business rules, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and middleware technologies. In 2019, Angello became part of the Schwarz Group by joining Lidl Spain. His role was to help with the early stages and establishment of the RPA Competence Center. Over the last two years, he has been fulfilling the role of team leader at SGS Barcelona.

In the RPA department we automate business processes by developing bots. We are a diverse team of Business Analysts, Developers and Operators, who manage the ideas from conception to delivery. We follow a “you build it, you run it” approach where we coordinate directly with the business and solve our own incidents.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

In Robotic Process Automation we focus on reducing repetitive and manual work for the colleagues in the different business departments, so they can focus on value added tasks. Seeing the actual value that the processes automation brings to them is always very satisfactory. I also love working with people from different countries (22+) and cultures, you get to learn something new every day.

How would you describe your team?

Our team consists of people from different backgrounds and technical expertise, it is a multicultural environment. Having developers, business analysts and support specialists gives them the diversity and synergy to accomplish great results. We work in a very close manner, and I am very proud of the relationship and good vibes we have.

Who fits into your team?

We are open to receiving a wide range of profiles, for both technical and not so technical roles. Anyone with the right attitude and passion for the job fits in our team. We have a very good onboarding process and colleagues willing to help and support the new joiners so they can feel welcome from the first day.
